I’m a dedicated Adaptive Learning Specialist with over 20 years of experience supporting neurodiverse learners and their families. With advanced degrees in Child and Family Studies and Special Education, I specialize in understanding developmental differences, individualized instruction, and the complex dynamics that shape family life. My heart lies in helping families find clarity and confidence, especially when the path forward feels overwhelming or uncertain.
At the heart of my work is OkapiNsight, a name inspired by the okapi; a rare, resilient, and uniquely gifted creature often hidden deep in the forest. Like many of the children and families I support, the okapi thrives in its own way, despite being misunderstood or overlooked. It stands as a symbol of quiet strength, uniqueness, and the beauty of being different. That’s the spirit I bring to every consultation, every plan, every session, and every partnership.
In a world that often rushes to "fix" what it doesn’t understand, my mission is different: I walk alongside families, helping them truly see and celebrate their child’s strengths, understand their unique needs, and build sustainable, compassionate strategies for growth. Whether you're navigating early development, behavior challenges, or academic uncertainties, I’m here to foster growth and ignite positive habits.
Let’s work together to honor your child’s individuality and build a strong, supportive foundation, for today and for the future.
