Is this therapy?
No. All email consultations constitute an educational coaching service rather than a therapeutic or clinical program. While we employ developmentally informed strategies and accommodate diverse learning needs, we do not diagnose or provide therapy. However, we are willing to collaborate with other professionals on your child’s care team.
How is an email consultation different from a traditional coaching session?
An email consultation provides written support instead of live interaction. You email your concern, and within 3 business days, you’ll receive a personalized, strategy-based response you can refer back to anytime, no scheduling, no Zoom, no pressure.
What kinds of questions or concerns can I email about?
You are welcome to email any topics related to parenting, executive functioning, school difficulties, emotional regulation, daily routines, or simply navigate a challenging day. Whether it involves behavior at home, transitions, homework, or personal feelings of overwhelm, I will provide practical compassionate guidance in response.
How do I get started and what happens after I send an email?
Simply email your question to consultations@okapinsight.org. Within 3 business days, you’ll receive a detailed response with strategies and support. You’ll also be able to ask clarifying follow-up questions, all confidential and judgment-free.
Do you offer refunds for email consultations?
Due to the time, thoughtful review, and customized responses required for each email consultation and session, all sales are final upon delivery of the consultation However, if you are dissatisfied or feel your question was not addressed you may include follow-up questions (within five days) for clarification or additional support. Your satisfaction is important, and every effort will be made to ensure you feel supported and understood.
Can I use the email service for emergencies or urgent situations?
OkapiNsight’s email consultations are not designed for emergency support.

What ages do you work with?
OkapiNsight provides support to individuals aged 2 through adulthood (via email consultations only), addressing a broad spectrum of developmental, academic, and executive functioning needs. The six-week program is specifically designed for individuals aged 2 to 6.
What if my child has big emotions or behavioral challenges?
We welcome all children, including those with regulation, sensory, or behavioral challenges. Our approach is strengths-based, trauma-informed, and patient. We meet your child where they are and work with you to co-create calming routines and positive learning experiences.
